This wall-mounted can crusher will crush your aluminum cans down to puck-size with one turn of the handle. Mount The Crusher onto the wall of your garage with a few screws and a couple of anchors to ensure its sturdy hold. Because this unit was made out of heavy metal, it should last years longer than the cheaper brands you’ll find at your local Bed, Bath and Beyond stores. Recycling can’t get any easier than this. Available at 1ofaKindStuff.com.

My husband and I have been talking about replacing the old refrigerator that came with our house for quite some time. Although we’ve decided on a style, we’re still discussing the color. I’m happy with white because it matches the rest of our appliances. He would like bronze.
Neither one of us cares for stainless steel because it’s a fad that will become dated over the next 5-10 years. But the only thing I’ve seen online and off are white and stainless, with the occasional cream or black thrown in. That’s not much of a selection.
However, I found what may be a good solution from Kitchen Accessories Unlimited. I say ‘may’ because I have no idea what the quality of their panels are. They offer quite a selection of appliance covers. The one pictured above is their copper facing.
These panels don’t come cheap. Some of them, like the copper, cost almost as much as a brand new refrigerator. That said, these panels may outlive more than one refrigerator.
