Cutting homemade breads and loaf cakes in even slices is almost impossible, especially as you reach the end. This expandable bread box has two purposes: a storage unit and a slicer. Simply place your bread on the guide inside the box, slice what you want, and push the two ends together. The air holes will let your bread breathe while preventing the moisture that can build up when storing inside a bag.

While I’ve never baked my own bread (and don’t intend to), I do bake pumpkin and spice breads. I might also try it with meat loaf, depending on how easy it is to clean.
