Something as simple as pouring yourself a cup of coffee or filling your dog’s water bowl can be a frustrating task if your eye sight is failing. The ILA Music Alert is designed to help people with failing eye sight perform what used to be a simple task. Simply place the alarm over the lip of the cup and pour in your beverage. When the liquid reaches .75 from the top, an tune will play, alerting you before you spill a drop.

At first glance, this looks like an ordinary mug with a world map. Add hot liquid, and you’ll know that it’s anything but ordinary. Watch as entire regions disappear into the ocean under the condition called Global Warming. I think this mug is rather ingenious, if not morbid and hysterical.
