Fusionbrand has come up with a great tool to replace trussing strings and toothpicks in the prep and cooking process. The picture above demonstrates what they can do quite nicely. These loops were designed to connect with each other. So, if you need to truss a roast, snap a few loops together.
What I find appealing is that you can reuse them. Once you’re finished cooking your meal, stick them in the dishwasher/storage bag and clean. Comes in a box of 6.

Gizoo has released a set of measuring cups that promise accuracy as well as ease of use. With the press of your thumb, you can get the exact measurement for your dry or liquid ingredients the first time. However, I won’t be throwing out my Pyrex or Tupperware measuring cups just yet because the NuScup measures up to two tablespoons.
