The plastic bags the grocery stores use leave much to be desired. For one, they’re so thin that it doesn’t take much to puncture them. And, unless you tie the handles, you risk everything spilling inside your car if one of your items doesn’t get packed right.
Collapsible Crates will not only help you stabilize your groceries during transport, but serve as a handy carrying caddy. Once you’re finished unloading your groceries, collapse them and store them away. Stack and Stacks has modernized the old-fashioned milk crate to serve just about every purpose. Available in red, black, blue, and white.

Amazon.com has officially launched its online grocery service to the public, which allows you to buy non-perishables in bulk packs. My kids don’t eat enough to warrant buying 12-packs of anything, but I do know families that use Costco to feed their teenagers.
I’m hoping that Amazon will add perishable items to their inventory within the next year or so. Because by then, I will need to buy in bulk. If this continues to take off the way it has (200,000 customers in May), online grocery shopping may become as commonplace as buying books or CDs.
